With some of the cheaper systems coming out, Castle making it more mainstream, and the more expensive kits that cator to performance and also ease of use.

Listed below are what I have graded the kits and what I think of them.

Issues- This is where I have listed anything that has gone wrong with units that i have seen personally and have had happen to me.

Quark 125B $255

Grade- B

-125A rating

-no PC programmability

-Need BEC for 4s+

-Design does not offer cooling help

Issues? None

MGM $250

Grade B

-upgrade to Quark

-Very high A rating (varies by type; mine are 160A+)

-Dual motor quality/ styles

-good cooling design/ dual heatsinks

-PC programmability with upgrade

-Very smooth running and braking

Issues- none

EZ Run C4 $200

Grade F

-no PC programmability but does offer a programming card

150A rating

Issues- 2/2 fried on 2s lipo initial turn on

-Customer Service is not the greatest (repeated emails requesting replies, have yet to get warranted units)

Castle MMM $250

Grade C

-150A (projected but not official)

-PC prgramability

-Fan helps to cool

-Programming options are awesome!

Issues- 4 of 10 fried. 3 of which on 2s lipo initial turn on

-Customer service is outstanding, however, the point of making a product is to 1) not have a 40% failure rate and 2) not have to use customer service.

Tekin RX8- $300+

- Grade A

-no PC (manual states Hot Wire compatible but have yet to get it to work)

-Manual programmability is amazing! Very easy

-fan cooled

-not a fan of the wire layout/ soldering

-Installation takes some time

-Sensored or sensorless operation and fan is a optional unit.

Issues- none
